Pondok Indah Children's Hospital has a comprehensive services for child health, growth and development of babies, toddlers and pre-adolescents in Jakarta, Indonesia. The hospital wanted to have a friendly image towards the children, so previously, they had installed children cartoon character's mural on their children's ward. However, this effort made the ward looked inconsistent, therefore the hospital needed harmonious artworks to replace the random murals.

MATA Studio approached me to develop their illustration sketches to final artworks. I was given the opportunity to exercise the sketches for the waiting room, corridor, receptionist, and doctor's assessment rooms. The theme chosen was rain forest ecosystem and Indonesian endemic fauna. The style decided was modern and naive. We decided to use natural colour palette with softer hue to make the illustrations more approachable to children.
