The booklet was my Master's Degree course project which targeted children aged 7-10. The content was extracted and modified from The Moon by Oliver Farrington. The publication serves two purposes: educational content for children, and a board game when spread out.

To appeal to the children, I created a character after a real-life space dog, Laika. The character’s purpose was to introduce the Moon in a fun and simple way to the children.

Children’s picture books typically use multiple colours which can look distracting. So to contrast, I used monochromatic colour schemes for the space background and simple white-red for the dog.
