The booklet and album were part of my internship project. The theme was driven by a song by an Indonesian legendary musician, Chrisye. He was the star of the romantic pop song back in the 1980s.

To achieve the look and feel of Indonesian romantic pop music, I used Japanese-inspired halftone illustration. For the illustration’s background, I played with an oval shape to create overlapping layers of clouds and bubbles. Pop was identic with the use of vibrant colours. Nevertheless, to match the romantic theme, I picked pink, yellow, and blue for the colour scheme. The booklet comes with free stickers that readers can freely stick anywhere!

Aside from the booklet and album, the assets were later used for marketing material concepts in social media and offline banners.
